Holy Friday
Most of these photos are by Natallia. We are blessed to have her in our parish and as our photographer.Although this service occurs on Holy Friday, it is really the Matins of Holy Saturday in anticipation. We have a procession outside the temple and we return under the Shroud which is held by servers. For many of us, a highlight of the service is the "Dry Bones Prophesy" [Ezekiel 37:1-14]. Seraphim does a wonderful job of reading it, very close to the way that Archbishop Dmitri of blessed memory used to read it at St. Seraphim Cathedral in Dallas TX.
