St Mark Park Construction

Wednesday 11 February 2009 I had to go to the Saint Mary Spiritual Center to retrieve my notebook which I left in the chapel the previous evening when the lights were suddenly turned off. As I walked through the park, I took more photographs of the construction.

As I was heading towards my house, I saw two men doing some type of survey work. I went over and talked with them. They were Suresh Bhart and Micah Payne [410-396-6946]. They were checking out the lights on Orchard Street. Mr. Bhart pointed out that the current lights are very high and during the summer they are ineffective because of the trees. He also pointed out that the trees are big and they are only 20 feet apart. We also noticed that there was not one single street light on the other side of the street.

The photographs of the two men were taken more than a block away. I was in the park, as you can probably see by the wall there. My Nikon 70-300mm lens has definitely served me well.
