Miracle on 34th Street
On Friday 21 December 2007 I had dinner with my god son and his parents. We went out to celebrate my new job.
Michael, Kira, and Tendai live just a few blocks from the Baltimore;s "Miracle on 34th Street." So, after dinner, we went there to enjoy the neighbor's Christmas present to the City of Baltimore.
Since I saw it last year, it was not as exciting for me except for the fact that I was with my five-year old godson. This made it special. The fact that it was a very cold day did not help. I hate cold weather. But Kira used to live in the neighborhood and she knows some of the people. This also gave the trip another dimension. Plus, she saw some of the other parents whom she knows. Thus, the trip was very enjoyable.
Of course, dinner was also great at the restaurant on University Blvd. This restaurant is frequented by Johns Hopkins students and the staff know their customers. Plus, the food was good. I highly recommend the restaurant.
