Civil New Year 2008
Whenever I can, I like to end the old year and start the new year with church. Usually I would end the year with the New Year Eve service at St. Ignatius Catholic Church where Archimandrite Constantine Morales is one of the participants. I am there to support him and also to witness to the Faith.In 2006 one Roman Catholic told me, "I can't understand how anybody who is not Russian could be Russian Orthodox" and I replied, "I can't understand how anybody who is not Roman could be Roman Catholic."
On several occasions in the past, I have attended Divine Liturgy at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Baltimore. I did so again this year. For the first time, I attended a service there and did not serve.
