In many Orthodox churches in this country Lazarus Saturday is a special day for the children. It is also the final cleaniang day before Holy Week.
This year Fr. John did the Proskomede (Prepatory Rites) in the middle of the nave so that the people can see what happens and have an appreciation for the Liturgy.
