Fathers Day 2008 was a very long day for me. We started with Liturgy at 8:00 and ended with Vigil at 18:00, and it ended around 20:00.
When David selected the camera out of my camera bag, he did not realize that there were two cameras there and he picked up the one with the telephoto lens. I think that he took some fantastic photographs.
After the Liturgy we had a Panikhida for all our loved ones. In a way, this day, the day before Pentecost, is like All Souls Day in the West. We call it Souls Saturday.
THen we had a picnic. As usually, Albert did a wonderful job of cook the food. Michael and his son and my godson Tendai also attended. And there were also some very cute children.
