Nativity Retreat

Since I received a special invitation to this retreat, I knew that I better attend. I had planned to attend any way, regardless of the invitation. I am a strong supporter of my old parish, even if not financially.

Reader Paul and I got into a friendly argument about pronunciation of Slavonic. I started it when he said "Hospodi"and I said "That's the Ukrainian way of pronunciating it." That is the way that I also learned to pronounce Slavonic. But I was just having fun with him.

It was also wonderful seeing Nina. I did not recognize her at first. Well, it has been over ten years, if I am not mistaken.

After Vespers Theodore and his parents took me out to dinner at Ikaros and then they took me home. The service there was wonderful,.
