Last chess tournament of academic year 2008-9

We played our last tournament of the year and the kids at my school definitely did better than they did in most of the previous tournament. Even more important, the kids from my school were extremely well behaved. I am very proud of them and I made it a point to tell the principal of the school and the coordinator for the program. Catrina announced this over the PA system. We came in fourth place.

Before the tournament many of the kids played practice games. Julius Wade observed this and he took over and taught them some strategy, basically what I had been teaching them all year. They listened to him.

During the day I noticed that the Ed Kane's Water Taxi was making stops at the building. They are one of our member companies at the Baltimore Visitors Center.
